Herbert A. Spitzer, Jr., was born in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Mr. Spitzer served as a Law Clerk for the Appellate Court of Indiana (1964-65) and currently serves as counsel to the City of Marion, Indiana (2007 – present) and to the Town of Van Buren, Indiana (1973 – present).  He has been a Certified Civil Mediator.  He is a member of the Grant County and Indiana State Bar Associations.  Mr. Spitzer focuses his practice in probate and estate planning, elder law, real estate and zoning, corporate law, and municipal law.  He and his wife Ellen have been married for 50 years and have four children and thirteen grandchildren.
